About me

“What do you do?”  It seems a reasonable question to ask, and a simple one to answer.

I am filmmaker and educator with a strong interest in highly authentic short-form works that challenge, inspire and motivate people.  I have over 20 years experience in media production, and have written and produced content for private, government and not-for-profit sectors. I am equally experienced as an educator – ranging from kindergarten children right up to university students.  I developed the corporate media program for Curtin University, where I also held a leadership role as Director of Learning & Teaching for the School of Media, Culture and the Creative Arts.

People tell me I have a knack for engaging a stranger in conversation and making them feel comfortable.  That I can get people thinking.  And that I am patient in how I teach and both helpful and kind in my feedback.

And, I am committed to working with industry, educational institutions and the not-for-profit sector to provide opportunities for the next generation of film makers.
